COSTA RICA: Arias continues UN-SC bid and quarrels with Cuba

President Oscar Arias is continuing his campaign to obtain a non-permanent seat for Costa Rica in the United Nations Security Council. In order to win the place Arias has been courting several countries. He has also initiated a quarrel with Cuba, going as further as to advocate regime change in the island, in a bid to emphasise Costa Rica's democratic credentials.
